Copenhagen’s ‘Enids’ release new EP ‘Worriers’

I think you could argue that there’s certainly not a dearth of womxn in bands. Despite what a lot of mainstream festival line-ups would suggest. I find it hard to keep up with the amount of amazing music I get sent or find from trawling community groups. It’s there, you’ve just got to look for it, with your eyes, Darryl. FFS.

‘Enids’ came to the Blue Moon, Cambridge last summer. They headlined the bill along with ‘‘Jævndøgn’ and ‘Hook Jaw’ as part of a DIY UK mini-tour. ‘Enids’ describe themselves as “three-piece mixing indie pop band with fast punchy punk rock.” Their music is inspired by bands such as: Heavenly, Tiger Trap and Bikini Kill. Which is entirely appropriate, seeing as we have a Bikini Kill reunion on our hands (support act anyone?).

They self-released their EP ‘Worriers’ on 27 January as a digital album through Bandcamp, it was mixed and recorded by Mads Johannes Nielsen and mastered by Daniel Husayn. ‘Worriers’ is a punchy EP, full of life, skill and grit. I can’t wait for them to return to the UK
